Review & Giveaway – Win Drumond Park Mask ‘n’ Ask

Mask ‘n’ Ask from Drumond Park is a brilliant game of ‘Who am I’

mask

Am I a tiger? Am I a policeman? Mask ‘n’ Ask is really easy to play, just put on a mask, move around the board and ask questions to find out what you are. It’s a unique board game with 2 ways to play, it is full of fun for family and friends to enjoy.

Inside the Mask ‘n’ Ask box you will find:

30 Double-sided masks

4 Pairs of glasses

Gameboard

4 Playing pieces

48 Yes/No tokens

Spinner

The double sided masks are beautifully designed with 30 colourful animals on one side and 30 jokey-looking people on the other. You may become a chicken, penguin or rabbit or a policeman, cowboy or princess.

I really like the way Mask ‘n’ Ask has a double sided game board as it makes this game twice the fun. Children have the choose if they play the animal or human character side.

Once you have decided which side game you are going to play, choose a mask (without looking), take a pair of glasses, your matching colour playing piece and 12 ‘reminder’ tokens. The masks clip on easily to the glasses which fit us all well.

You are now ready for the fun to begin. Each player takes it in turn to spin the spinner, moves that number around the board and asks the player/s the question printed on the board for instance, Do I have glasses? Do I have six or more legs?  You may land on the space ‘Pick any question’ where you can choose any question from the board or ‘Ask your own question’ where you make up any question you like.

When you have asked the question, the players respond with yes or no, this is where the handy ‘reminder’ tokens come in. The player then places a token on the space to remind them of the answer ‘Yes/No.’ This makes things a lot easier for children and adults to remember.

When a player guesses what they are correctly, replace your mask with a new one and the winner is the first player to guess three masks correctly.

Isabelle thinks this game is a lot of fun and so do I. The game board is well designed from layout, colour and of course double sided what a brilliant idea. The rules are very quick to learn, Isabelle could read and understand the questions around the board and with over 60 masks to play with it keeps this game interesting.

Mask ‘n’ Ask is entertaining, develops childrens logical thinking and recognition. Scarlett is only 3 but enjoyed trying on the animal masks as she loves her animals and asked many questions.

This game is suitable for children 7 years and up, for 2-4 players.
