Isabelle has enjoyed making different style watches and shes gone into school today with a watch she made yesterday. Isabelle find this set a lot of fun, but she did find making some of the style watches easier than others. The watch strap she can easily do on her own, by simply choosing the colour trim and surround she wanted, placed it onto the watch face and clipped onto the connectors.
Isabelle picked one of the straps from the beautiful designs and thread it through the connector pieces and her new watch was ready to wear. It was a great afternoon for Isabelle and she loved the fact she got to set the time.
Girls can easily mix and match to create their own unique watch time and time again, when they decide it’s time for a change. With over 70 colourful accessories included they can create a watch to match their favourite outfits.
Isabelle has made some really pretty watches.
The beautiful bead design watch, Isabelle needed a little help with threading the elastic through the holes, as they were tiny. She did really well at threading the coloured cord on her other style watch and loved plating the cords to make it look pretty.
This set is aimed at older children 7+ and I would say this is about right, as Isabelle only needed a little help at times. Isabelle and I love the concept of Swapwatch, it’s a enjoyable activity which shows off their creativity. It would of been nice if it came with a little storage box for the small accessories, but the set it’s self is just fantastic and the battery for the watch is included.
Isabelle quotes ‘I’m so excited going into school with my watch I made and I will be able to see what the time is at break times.’
Swapwatch is available to buy from Flair and other toy retailers.
