Living Arrows – Growing Up!

Isabelle is growing up so fast and becoming so independent. I know she’s only 7 but sometimes it feels like shes 7 going on 17.  She enjoyed a pampered party at her friends house over the weekend. They had their nails done, hair crimped, glitter tattoos with a little bit of make up she had a fantastic time. I took this photo straight after the party and then looked back at her baby photos and thought to myself where has this time gone. All Isabelle talks about after school is boys, boys and more boys. I found a little love letter she wrote calling a boy ‘her gummy bear.’ I was doing Isabelle’s hair this morning before school I had to get her to sit down, she is just below my shoulders. Ok, I may only  5 foot 1 but that’s not the point. I think I’ve got to stop calling her my little girl even though deep down she will always be!

Isabelle and Scarlett went for a walk in the woods one day.

They came across a little hideaway.

But it wasn’t any old hideaway.

This one was special in every way!

Living Arrows 18/52 – A Sweet Letter

Every night I pop into the girls room to kiss them goodnight.

One night last week I walked into Scarlett’s room and found a letter that Isabelle had left.

Isabelle had left this note next to a box of her favourite Lego which she has now given to Scarlett to keep.

It was so sweet.

I love the moments when Isabelle and Scarlett care for each other, they are just so special.

Living Arrows – 12/52

I’m so excited to come across Living Arrows and look forward to sharing the beauty and magic of childhood.  

Scarlett has become slightly unsettled at night time. We make sure she is laying next to her favourite cuddly toys, we keep her bedroom light on (as she won’t go to sleep if it’s off) and her door has to be wide open. Even by doing these things she can still get teary and takes a while to fall asleep.

We don’t like seeing her like this and one night we thought shes got to try and settle on her own, as daddies back is starting to hurt by sleeping on the floor next to her.

Scarlett seemed to settle quickly one night and it was all thank to her big sister Isabelle.
